Do we want our youth at school to think creatively and critically?. Too easy, with a few prerequisites.
1) Let them think in the first place no matter how controversial or silly their thoughts sound to you.
2)Don't limit what they can or cannot think.
3) Encourage them to speak their minds.
4)"No idea is a stupid idea."
5) Punish those who ridicule and mock others by assigning them to lead the discourse.
6) Start with simple concept.
7) Tell them it's not a shame to not know everything and to admit if they are not sure.
8) Guide and moderate, not command and dominate.
